Former Mental Health Consultant

We had the great pleasure of working with Simone Donaldson for two years of the project. She was the Lead Mental Health Consultant and a true pioneer of the development and dynamics of the project today!

Project Activities included:
Team consultations, program development, workshop facilitation, and individual psychotherapy for participants.

Alongside her various contributions, she was the centre and joy to our village; our IMARA family. Simone’s unique approach to Black mental health, anti-Black racism, and Afrocentric practices really set her apart with lasting impact.
